Hope (2026)
Action Horror
Set in the quiet, isolated rural port town of Hopo Port in South Korea, the peaceful life of the local community is suddenly shattered when a terrifying and mysterious presence is discovered on the outskirts of the village.
When local hunters discover livestock brutally slaughtered by an unseen, massive force, local police officer Beom-seok (Hwang Jung-min) and deputy officer Sung-ae (Hoyeon) are dispatched to investigate. What begins as a routine investigation quickly turns into a desperate struggle for survival as a ferocious monster begins rampaging through the town, bringing Hopo Port to the verge of total destruction.
Joined by a skilled young hunter named Sung-ki (Zo In-sung), the townspeople assemble a desperate task force to defend their home against the relentless terror. However, as the chaos unfolds, the characters make a shocking discovery deeper in the wilderness: the creature attacking them is not a mere monster, but an extraterrestrial lifeform tied to a crashed alien vessel hidden in the woods.
As two other mysterious extraterrestrials—Ja'ur (Alicia Vikander) and Ma'veyyo (Michael Fassbender)—enter the fray to recover their lost kind, the line between hero and villain becomes blurred. Hope evolves into a tense, chaotic conflict driven by fear, miscommunication, and xenophobia, forcing humanity to confront whether the true monster is the unknown threat—or their own destructive nature.
